“The beauty of data visualization”

In this ted talk David McCandless focuses on that everyone is experiencing data overload in some form. He states “So, visualizing information, so that we can see the patterns and connections that matter and then designing that information so it makes more sense, or it tells a story, or allows us to focus only on the information that’s important.” He uses great representation of data through a color scheme that correlates to money spending. He explicitly focuses on using patterns and data trends in each given industry. He uses several examples of chaotic data sets and organizes them in a “beautiful” way. He expresses the benefits of organizing data in such a way it is clean and aesthetically pleasing but also yields more accuracy and more efficiency to problems we face on all magnitudes.
