I found this ted talk especially interesting after taking a GIS course this past summer. Mr. Blaise Agüera y Arcas does an overview of utilizing all of different photo capturing technologies and how a program a called “Microsoft Photosynth” that can potentially combine all of the pictures from everyone in the entire world and create a cross user reference platform using metadata. This will allow users to search through a Meta data platform to that can give advance 3-D visualization in any part of the world by utilizing everyone’s pictures of that given area.
