Pretty good simple map, so your story comes across really straightforward. You have a good level of generalization, your symbology is clear, your text symbols are clear, etc… The only thing I would suggest is to make your map a little less monochromatic; the gray color is not super eye-catching. You could also change the color of the header theme to be another color other than black, maybe blue for Spiders? Other that that, pretty nice map!

I would set the default (or starting) zoom level to be just campus …
