Final Project

For my final project before ending my internship with the International Trademark Association for the summer, I was assign a large data analysis project reviewing membership rates in different categories: new members, membership renewals, and free memberships. For this project, it was my job to analyze the number in each field and the income generated based on different categories. I had to generate data on the basis of membership type (i.e. associate, corporate, university, etc.) region, company size,  and reduced rates (specials/benefits, etc.). This project involved compiling, comparing, and counting a lot of data, and then putting it into a report that would be handed off directly to the board of directors and CEOs. This was by far my most testing project because of its important to my department, the New York branch, and the company as a whole. In the end, I felt that I worked extremely hard and it showed in the final project, as my bosses seemed very pleased with the outcome. The most important part of this project for me, was now allowing my nerves about its importance and who it was going to (CEO & board of directors) impair my judgement or work ethic. In fact, I feel that the pressure I felt from those factors, as well as the ability to understand why I felt those pressures through my leadership studies, made me the most effective candidate for the job. It gave me confidence in my ability, and my future.
