Week 8 – Final Week at Lucas Systems UK

For my last week at Lucas, I was able to really take a step back and appreciate all of the things I accomplished during my internship and the positive impact I made on the company. My experience at Lucas has been incredibly worthwhile and enjoyable. Helping create and work on all different types of assignments have given me a great insight into what working in the professional world is like and I believe this will help me immensely after college. Some assignments that I worked on include:

• Executing a series of B2B email marketing campaigns, through the use of Salesforce, to targeted sales prospects
• Supporting a team with the drafting, editing, and compilation of an RFP response for a large UK-based corporate account
• Revising and editing existing marketing collateral and developing new content to better serve the UK market
• Conducting marketing research to identify potential sales prospects

These are just some of the many assignments I accomplished while at Lucas, but I feel were the most important to me. All of these assignments allowed me to use leadership skills, problem-thinking skills, as well as critical and creative thinking skills. Not only was I able to get great work exposure, but my internship allowed me to network with individuals in the company which awarded me with some great connections and friends that I know I will be keeping in touch with in the future. Overall, I am incredibly happy with my internship at Lucas and I look forward to seeing how this internship will help me in the real world.
