Bioshock Infinite

Uhhhhh, as I said in my panopto video, I really like the music and sound design for this game. A little more specifically, I enjoy hearing each vigor, DeWatt’s voice, the pastor voices, and most of the enemy characters as well. When the game wants to be spooky it gets spooky, when it wants to be exciting it gets exciting. I think the best marriage of elements came in the beginning when we are first exposed to the city, just awe inspiring visuals and music blending together to show how the citizens of this world see it as a utopia. All the fight scenes are really fun, if a little easy, and I usually just kind of go through the missions spamming n because I get lost in the world way too easily. I find it more enjoyable than portal, probably cause its a little more straightforward and has a clear, understandable thought. Visuals are fantastic, vigors are freaking awesome, cult is creepy, game is fun.

Game is fun indeed. The opening scene from going from a stormy sea to a bright and colorful sky city is something a player can’t forget. And as I said, music will make or break a game, and it makes Bioshock. N is also very important so ill say ditto to that as well.

I agree about the opening scene. When the city was first revealed, I was super impressed by the level of detail, especially in an older game. The level of detail sometimes distracts me from the goal (especially because I keep dying when I try to fight) but it also adds in more stuff to explore when I am especially frustrated.

I agree that the game is rather easy so far (however I am only playing on medium). I too am in love with the vigors. I think they add another element to combat that separates Bioshock from other shooters.

I really enjoy the music too in this game. It switches between joyful and frightful really fast. I can tell they spent a good amount of time picking the perfect kinds of music. I am wondering when the game will get more difficult. Right now, I feel like the game is still trying to get us used to the controls.I feel like since our first encounter with booker, the game will begin to pick up.

I think that the sound and visual effects of the game are crutial to the story line and for knowing how to actually play the game. I actually think the fight scenes are pretty hard (I’ve died multiple times), but I think thats from my lack of experience.
