blog post new levels BioShock

Begghars Warf was a very tough level for me the boss fight or at least what I would consider a boss fight was very difficult. I tried using my different potions and the like and kept running out of salts. Finally I just started using the electric shock and then throwing fire balls. I minimized my damage I was taking and was finally successful with throwing fireballs while he was paralyzed.

The action throughout the levels was a little bit more intensive. I love the machine guns and shot guns in the game. You no longer can just kill guys with guns to preserve health in some situation I found myself having to use potions. In the level Finkton Proper there was also a Boss Battle. That one was also very difficult. I love using the rocket launcher. I used it after jumping off of the sky hook and shooting it at the air things that had a ton of health.

The plot has been getting more and more confusing as we go along. Dewitt and Elizabeth are jumping through timelines and we see crazy things in the other ones. They eventually go to one where the uprising/revolution is happening. I am a little confused. I think that as we get a little bit further ahead well see some of it finally come full circle. I am really excited to keep playing the game.

I also felt that these sections are getting more challenging and more confusing. The fights were definitely a little more difficult i found myself using more vigors compared to before as well. I was definitely glad Elizabeth was there to help out and throw useful things at us during these fights. I am a little confused still about everything thats happening. One question I have is who are the Lutices? and why do they keep appearing and how can they disappear so fast? are they going through tears? Hopefully as we continue playing we will figure out all the important parts of the story.

I too was getting confused during this section of BioShock. I think entering the tear and seeing a new time period made the plot a little more complicated. For some characters in particular, for example Daisy, this new time brought a whole new side of her that we have yet to see. Additionally, in the tear we saw Booker being portrayed as a hero..How did he accomplish that? I’m excited to continue playing and to keep finding out more details.

I also believe the plot is also starting to become a little confusing and hard to follow because of the constant shifts in the tears. Even though its started to become more complicated I still think that the plot is interesting. I also agree that the boss fights are starting to get harder all together and I’m starting ti die more and more often. At this point in the game I would really like to find out how Comstock uses elizabeths abilities.

I would agree that the difficulty has really been picking up. I for one absolutely despise the handymen and patriots. Battling them is a pain even with vigors and Elizabeth’s help (speaking of which, am I the only one that thinks she has greatly reduced her help?). So far, though, the fights are still manageable. I’m not sure what will happen if it gets tougher though.

The best part is definitely the plot going forward. For some reason, Elizabeth very easily reconciles with us. Probably because she has no other option? I’m glad she does though because she opens up some really interesting avenues, literally so. Not to mention random marching bands in your face…
