The central scene on the coffin of Ti-Ameny-Net shows the mummy lying on a funeral bier with the four canopic jars containing the internal organs beneath the couch and the ba bird, a representation of the soul of the deceased, hovering above the legs of the mummy. The scene is not fully preserved on Ti-Ameny-Net’s coffin, but similar images are found in Egyptian funerary texts and on other coffins, as in this image from a priest’s coffin made around the same time:
