If an application requires a transcript, use a copy of your official transcript from the Registrar’s Office. Do not use a printout from BannerWeb.
- To request an electronic copy of your official transcript, submit a Transcript Request Form (free) or Parchment request (paid) through the Registrar’s Office website.
- Once you receive the electronic transcript via email from Parchment, do NOT open the document in Preview or any other program (Word, Pages, etc.). Instead, follow the Library’s instructional blog to decrypt the document.
- Finally, upload the document to LawQuest or email to employers. If you save your transcript it was received, without following the steps above, the encryption will make it unusable.
You may request your transcript in advance for delivery after grades are finalized.
Class ranks are not reflected on the transcript. Once determined, your class rank will be posted in BannerWeb according to grade bands: top 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 33.3%, 50%, and unranked.
