The 8th annual Gottwald Games were held yesterday. We had over 100 student participants, a number of faculty volunteers, and a whole lot of fun. The games this year consisted of old favorites: the Petri Dish Relay, Sponge Ball, Aromatic Ring Toss, Water Glove Toss, Memory, and Pipet Tip Drop, as well as some fun new games: Brain Ball (cornhole with glasses that distort your vision by 30 degrees) and Rate Limiting Step (a relay race shuttling water with some dizzy bat). See pictures below for some action shots plus the winning teams.

To our summer research students – I hope you enjoyed the couple hours of fun, competition, and fellowship with your labmates. Thank you for the hard work you do throughout the summer!
