Every year, I enjoy hosting the Pollock lab research students for a short study break filled with good food and fun conversation. It typically takes place the Sunday before finals begin. Last year, we were snowed out (in Virginia?!?) but this year it went on as planned. Most of the students were able to make it and a few alum in the area came as well. We chatted over homemade soups, cookies, and other snacks. Good luck to all my research students on your finals! Thank you for a productive and enjoyable 2019. Enjoy the break and I’m excited to see what 2020 brings.
