Maddie and I traveled down the road to VCU for the Virginia Academy of Science’s annual meeting. We listened to an interesting talk by Dr. Danielle Dick on environmental and genetic factors that lead to substance abuse problems and the development of a new program to help undergraduates through their college years. After dinner, Maddie was awarded the Edward S. Harlow scholarship. Congratulations!
