Virginia statute 8VAC20-543-80 requires that all education endorsement programs in early/primary education preK-3, elementary education preK-6, middle education 6-8, and history and social sciences include local government and civics instruction specific to Virginia.
To meet this requirement you must complete the Virginia State and Local Civic Education Module. Immediately upon completion of the module, download the certificate of completion and save it as a PDF. If you leave the module without doing this, it will not save your certificate and you will need to complete the entire course again.
