Opportunities to complete the community service component of the course can be found at the following:

UR Bonner Center for Civic Engagement Explore the Environment Webpage.  This website serves as a resource for students, faculty, and staff who wish to engage with the environment and a handful of the issues associated with it.

James River Park System Calendar. Clearinghouse for events in or in support of the James River Park System.

HandsOn Greater Richmond. Web-based volunteer network where community members can sign up to volunteer with nonprofits throughout the city.

Richmond Folk Festival. In 2015, more than 1,300 volunteers contributed Richmond Folk Festival such a success. Join this year Oct 7-9.

Blue Sky Fund. Blue Sky Fund is a youth development non-profit that provides outdoor education experiences for urban youth.
