Michael Signorile’s Global Citizen Story map

This Story-map covers my trip in Europe this summer and how I analyzed the Geography of each place I visited which in turn made me more geographic literate. I visited the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, and Croatia. Each place I visited I learned about the physical and human geography. This was my first time to Europe and it has made me into the global citizen that I am today.

Michael, I really enjoyed your StoryMap about your time in Europe. You went to some really interesting places, and was able to describe them well. I really liked how you used your own photos.

Micheal, I really enjoyed how you were very specific with the different types of transportation you used to navigate during your trip. This information was interesting because it explained how your perspective of these locations was specific to your exact path traveled. Further, it provided insight on how exactly this improved your geographic literacy.

It was great that you included the pictures that you took. The architectures like buildings and a canal in London and Netherlands show the different landscapes that were formed by humans. I think the experience you had in different cities can allow you to have a broader perspective. I liked that you included brief background of information of the cities. I think the historic and economic facts of the places allow the audiences of the map to understand them easier.

I really enjoyed looking at your story map! I love the pictures you decided to put and it was really interesting to see all the places you have been to; I would always wonder where the next slide would take me. I liked that you gave really personal perspective about each place. nice job!
