BNDWTH is a studio, label, and collective of producers, engineers, mixing engineers, musicians, songwriters, music supervisors, and more, created by WLPWR, and located in East Point, Atlanta, Georgia. WLPWR is a multi-platinum record producer from Columbia, South Carolina, who has worked with the likes of Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, and popular indie artists like Yelawolf, Big Krit, and Tech N9ne (“WLPWR | Music Producer | Artist Development | Recording | Atlanta”).

He began producing around 1997 for local artists in South Carolina. The breakthrough point in his career came when he met Yelawolf in 2001, in the lobby of a record studio in New York, and created a partnership that would last still to this day. Due to this connection, he has produced all of Yelawolf’s Trunk Muzik mixtape, nine songs from Trunk Muzik 0-60, nine songs from Radioactive, and the entire Trunk Muzik Returns mixtape (“Atlanta-Based WLPWR Produced Majority of Yelawolf’s New Album”). He also created SupaHotBeats in 2002, a production and recording company, which helped him develop core principles that he uses to run BNDWTH today.

BNDWTH has become a community of esteemed and talented musicians. From Grammy-winning and multi-platinum producers to up-and-coming artists, songwriters, and musicians, BNDWTH is a family of talented people who love working together. They mentor each other, passing on knowledge and useful tips for success in the industry. They collaborate, elevating each musician and allowing them to learn from each other. BNDWTH is an excellent example of what a community should look like.

WLPWR created BNDWTH to be a “Big musical playhouse where people could come and be creative” (“Behind the Rhymes w/ WLPWR – Multi-Platinum Producer – {istandard}”). There was no goal at first, other than to be a free space that had a creative energy, unlike many traditional recording studios. For him, BNDWTH’s creation was about making an affordable studio where creatives with positive energy could come and make music. It wasn’t about the money, but rather having good people together to create good music, and being able to help artists’ careers take-off. And with WLPWR’s experience in the music industry, he is able to develop these new artists and help them build their brand (“WLPWR | Music Producer | Artist Development | Recording | Atlanta”).

Certainly money is necessarily to keep a studio like BNDWTH alive, so they have generated income through score recording, album recording, advertising, music composition and more (“BNDWTH – BNDWTH.”)
