My final project will be discussion how Eminem broke through in hip hop as one of the first white hip hop/rap artists. Through this time, it was stereotypical that rap was for the African American community. This will mostly reflect his first project and how it was on of the best albums in all of rap history. This will also reflect mental health issues which is another issue that was not discussed a lot in the rap community.

The topic I will be primarily focusing on is Disability since Eminems first 3 projects focus on the topics of mental health. I will also be talking about race since in the late 1990s and the early 2000s the rap scene was primarily seen as an African American thing and was dominated by them also.
