My paper will focus on how Queen influenced the music scene for years to come, while being written off by most critics. Some topics that I will focus on in this paper include Freddie Mercury’s flamboyant nature which was new in the rock culture, and dismissed the usual masculine and rough tones that this genre had to offer. Mercury’s sexuality was definitely in question by his audience, in which he never answered directly.
