All UR Law faculty, staff, and students have IP access to HeinOnline; however, you can access additional HeinOnline researching tools with a personal MyHein account:

  • Bookmark documents
  • Save search queries
  • Set Table of Contents alerts
  • Edit author profiles and alerts
  • Favorite databases
  • Manage search history

To set up a MyHein account, click the MyHein option from the toolbar on the upper right side of any page in HeinOnline. Then select Create an Account:

Fill out the MyHein Registration form. You can choose your preferred username and password, but you must use your @richmond.edu email address to register. Select your User Type from the drop-down menu, and click, “Register:”

Once you complete the form, you’ll be directed to your MyHein account dashboard where you can organize your research. Use the links in the left-hand navigation list to edit and manage your search queries, search history, alerts, favorites, and more!

For additional help, please refer to these guides:

If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to Sam Cabo, Digital Resources Librarian.

Use MyHein to take advantage of HeinOnline’s researching tools!
