Mason Ramsey’s last day as our Technology Services Specialist at the University of Richmond School of Law is March 9, 2022.
Mason hit the ground running at the end of July 2017 – literally. Incoming students arrived at the library to get their computers on the network, set up their Lexis/Westlaw/etc. accounts, pick up keys to study carrels, and generally get to know their home for the next three years. Mason greeted everyone who came through the door and remembered their name.
Mason has helped us through remote teaching, hybrid teaching, and our current climate. He has fixed countless computers remotely, ushered in computer replacements, wrangled printers, calmed Exam4 fears, and streamlined and managed a process to provide iPads for clinic students. He loves new challenges, and he has solved many a puzzle with our PCs and Macs.
As we know, Mason is a real “team player” – Often this is in the literal sense, lending a hand – or foot – to student/faculty/staff basketball games, kickball games, as well as a team scavenger hunt at the VMFA.
Thank you for everything, Mason!
