Coleman’s Global Citizen StoryMap
Although I personally lack the family history or international travel history to strongly define myself as a global citizen, I have harbored many connections that stretch to many corners of the globe. My interactions with international friends have led me to being exposed to new cultures and ideas that I was not as familiar with as before. Without this type of exposure I have experienced, I believe that I would not be as open about accepting and learning the cultural processes of an immigrant group. I have been especially blessed by these exposures because now I am naturally curious about other cultures. These friendships have been an integral part of defining my global perception, and what it means for me to fit into their worlds.
