Joora Baek’s Global Citizen StoryMap
This is a story map about my favorite movies. I love watching movies that I can watch three movies in a row. This hobby allowed me to have interest in different cultures from various countries since the places that movies are taken are diverse. Actors from different countries speak different languages like English, Indian, and Taiwanese and they reflect their cultures in their movies in different ways because their thoughts and cultures are not identical. The landscape and scenery also show the unique characteristics of the countries. These aspects of movies attracted me and led me build a mind of a global citizen. I became a global consumer of movie industry, and a global audience that interacts with actors and filmmakers all over the world. Here are the five movies that I chose.
