Emma’s Consumption Map

Lululemon is a design-based athletic apparel company. Their trademarked Luon fabric is specific to Lululemon with impacts on the leggings that are unique to the brand, and it makes up over 30% of the compnay’s production. They believe this product’s stategically engineered fit and features allows for the best athletic performance. Beginning in Vancouver, Canada, the company has expanded it’s production globally. After assembly in many different parts of the world, the leggings are distributed all over, with headquarters remaining in Canada. Geographic concepts such as marketing of place and human-environment interaction are apparent when looking into the production and consumption of lululemon apparel.
