The Global Journey of the McDonald’s Hamburger
McDonald’s is an international company that serves over 68 million people per day. In order to meet high demands for cheap, fast food production, McDonald’s must import their meat from several nations to supplement American beef production. Across its 36,000 international locations, they sell more than 75 hamburgers every second. Their beef patties travel overseas multiple times in their production journey. Look at my StoryMap to track the journey of the McDonald’s beef patty, from cow to landfill.
