Mariah’s Consumption StoryMap

This is my StoryMap about consumption.

Clean and Clear is a widely used brand that was known to be used by many different types of teenagers around the world. The brand, over the years, has geared its focus  heavily towards marketing to young women, who are their prime consumers, and the use of harmful microbeads in their products, especially the Morning Burst Collection. I chose this product in particular to look at because it is one of their most advertised products and I was curious to see whether the company’s production of this product had any implications on the environment and humans. I did find some implications and will share them with you through this StoryMap. When looking at production I will focus more on the marketing and geographical side of production rather than the products assembly as the product is mostly made in a lab and does not require the use of many different components that cannot be synthesized in a lab.
