Adidas Running On Water: Joseph’s Consumption StoryMap
The Adidas Group and Parley for the Oceans have entered a partnership that will yeild 7,000 pairs of shoes made out of almost entirely recycled ocean plastic. The vast majority of the ocean plastic will be scooped up near the Maldives. The people living near the Maldives rely on fishing as a way of life. This project makes an effort to clean up the ocean and generate awareness about ocean pollution. The manufacturing process of the Uncaged Ultra Boost Parleys involves companies and locations all around the world, showing the linkages between locations that the Adidas Group have established as a global company.
