Music by Ryan Dennis

Throughout my life music has allowed me to experience new cultures, ideas and beliefs while not having to travel to far to plug in headphones and start listening. I have been exposed to so many different artists who have come from vastly different backgrounds. Along with that, I have also met many music lovers including my parents, friends and brief acquaintances. We have talked a lot about who has the power to define places or spaces which has made me realize that although music is not a place, it in a sense can be considered a space, where people can express their ideas and cultures through words and melodies.

Here is my story of how music has defined me as a global citizen throughout my first twenty-one years of life.
