My Favorite Baseball Stadiums I Have Visited

I love baseball. I have grown up with it and played the game as well. I think that a baseball stadium represents the culture of a city and the people in that city better than any other landmark. Here are my favorite ballparks that I have been lucky enough to visit.

As a baseball fan who’s been to a few major league games myself I really enjoyed your storymap. I have been to wrigley and see why it is so special, but as a whitesox fan U.S Cellular holds a special place in my heart because that is where I saw my only World Series Game. Overall I liked how you made your storymap more of a ranked list instead of a narrative.

Great stuff linking your favorite sport to Geography class. Awesome story map and awesome pictures at each of the stadiums. That’s a lot of places you have visited, its cool that you actually got to see a baseball game in all of these different cities. Very unique experience that many baseball fans wished they had. Baseball stadiums are quite a crazy landscape.

Having visited each of these ballparks, excluding AT&T Park, I can appreciate how each venue has its own unique character. It is true that, in many ways, ballparks emulate the cities they are built in. Of the stadiums I have visited, Yankee Stadium, PNC Park, Fenway Park, and Miller Park seem to best embody the spirit of their surroundings through their design and architecture. It is that cultural landscape that I enjoy the most, and which always makes for a really cool game experience.
