ESL Games

It was great to hear the perspectives from the inema students. They were able to give us a better insight on how their beliefs were shaped by their culture and the impact of those beliefs in their society. During our activities today, I imagined how the marble game could be incorporated into the curriculum. I can play this game with my ESL students in order to find the differences and similarities between their ways of thinking. By gaining an understanding of someone else’s core beliefs, ESL students can find a way to express their core values, while also getting them to converse with others. Below I have attached a video of other fun games to get ESL and refugee students talking.
