LGBTQ – A Global Social Change

Society as we know it is constantly growing and forming with new norms, values, beliefs and mechanisms. Due to our ever evolving society the world is starting to rapidly see social changes. According to two sociology professors, Dr. Wilterdink and Dr. Form, “Social change can evolve from a number of different sources, including contact with other societies, changes in the ecosystem, technological change, and population growth and other demographic variables. Social change is also spurred by ideological, economic, and political movements”.

All of these changes have made way for a more prominent LGBTQ population in the world we live in today. However different communities, countries, and cultures have had different reactions to this continuously growing population of the LGBTQ community all over the world.

So, how does this particular social change effect the work environment and leadership styles? How will this social change effect my future career or the generations to come/those already in the work force?
