Dr. Dre — Born on February 18th, 1965, Andre Young grew up surrounded by music. Both of Andre’s parents were singers in groups from LA. His mother, Verna, was in a group called the Four Aces. His father, Theodore, was in a group called the Romells. Unlike Ice Cube, Andre’s parents split and Young lived with his mother. Because of his short attention span towards his schoolwork, he went to multiple schools. In the end, he never truly cared for his schoolwork but instead had a passion for music. When Dre received a music mixer for Christmas in 1984, the Dj Dre came out. Dre would hang out at a LA nightclub Eve After Dark, where he worked the audio. He earned the name Dr. Dre, the Master of Mixology.
