Here are a few things you can do now and in the early fall to make it easier when you begin your summer employment search:
- Tell your contacts (family, friends, recommenders, former supervisors, former professors, etc.) you are coming to Richmond Law;
- Identify the skills you enjoy using and think about the kinds of work environments where you thrive;
- Evaluate your geographic preferences for summer and post-graduate employment;
- Consider which activities you may want to participate in at the Law School and in the Richmond community;
- Get to know your classmates and other students. They are interesting and fun and will be a big source of job leads, now and in the years to come.
- Relax!
