- Research mid-size law firms and make contacts there.
- Check your e-mail and Symplicity for employment opportunities often.
- Check deadlines for summer internships and post-graduate Honors Attorney programs in the federal government by reviewing the Government Honors & Internship Handbook (e-mail the CDO for password) and the Pathways to Federal Employment.
- Attend Judicial Clerkship Series: What’s It All About to learn more about federal and state judicial clerkships (Sept. 16). Register under Events in Symplicity.
- 2Ls and 3Ls: Meet with your career advisor. Work with your advisor to develop a search strategy for summer and post-graduate employment.
- Order networking cards, if you do not have them already (by Sept. 23).
- Attend How I Got my Public Interest/Government Job program (Sept. 23). Register under Events in Symplicity.
- 2Ls and 3Ls: Attend Get to Know… Hon. Mary Malveaux of the Court of Appeals of Virginia (Sept. 30). Register under Events in Symplicity.
