When I read this quote from the Aesthetics chapter, I immediately thought about how in magazines cover photos of people are usually photoshopped to obtain perfection. But when I continued to read this chapter it got me thinking that more than just people are photo edited to be perfect, but also places and things. In order to find this picture, I googled “Photoshopped images of nature in magazines” and I arrived at this picture as one of the first results. I chose this picture because it accurately represents that literally every piece of media that we see on a daily basis has been edited in some way to obtain aesthetic beauty.
