Dear Students:
Sarah indeed did a good job at pointing out the gendered nature of prisons. However, I want you t follow Emma’s example, and rather than just say you agree, either find support for Sarah’s point of view OR illuminate something different. It’s fine to write a few sentences in support, but offer one of your own ideas.
We’ll all get better as we go along, but I need all of you to think deeper.
