Featuring Don Forsyth, Michelle Hamm, and Erik Craft, come enjoy a faculty discussion and Christian’s pizza, salad and dessert on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 12 noon as we discuss a specific teaching strategy that might be of benefit to you! In this discussion, we look at Flipped Learning. Flipped learning comes to Higher Education from K-12 and can be defined as “Flipped classroom is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom.” (Wikipedia) Michelle Hamm (Chemistry), Erik Craft (Economics), and Don Forsyth (Leadership Studies) share their struggles and successes with this particular strategy.
