From UR’s Information Systems: On Wednesday September 30th, Apple will release a new OS X version called “El Capitan”. At this time, we do not recommend you download and install this OS to your computer. After the product is released, the Information Services department will begin testing the new OS on University standard Mac systems, as well as testing it with University standard software applications. We will continue to provide updates to the community as we learn more about the new OS. We’ll also provide updates via the IS website.
