Without a doubt, Artificial Intelligence has been one of the most disruptive and widely-discussed technology developments in decades. One area where this technology could have transformative impact is within the legal profession. Generative AI platforms include OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini. Adding to that, major legal databases like Lexis and Westlaw have generative AI tools, which are available to all students at Richmond Law. In addition to this, there are many specialized legal providers and tools to assist with work in the legal field.
In order to help understand how these technologies work and their potential uses for lawyers, Richmond Law is offering and A.I. Boot Camp. This is an in-depth event that takes place on Thursday, February 20 on Zoom. The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Sign up for the event online.
Content for the Boot Camp is tailored specifically for Richmond Law students, and we welcome people from the Richmond legal community and elsewhere to join us on Zoom.
The speaker is Oliver Roberts, the Co-Head of the AI Practice Group @ Holtzman Vogel | CEO/Founder of WickardAI | Editor-in-Chief of “AI and the Law” @ The National Law Review | Adjunct Professor of Law, AI & the Law @ Case Western Reserve School of Law.
