Is your 1L Legal Research class is a hazy memory? Worried that your research skills aren’t sufficient for your upcoming summer placement?  Then Law Library has the program for you!  Actually the Library has three programs to help you sharpen your research skills.  The Library staff is debuting a new program called “Lunchtime Labs.”  The labs are meant to provide students with hands on practice on finding cases, statutes, regulations, and practice materials; the basics of legal research.  The first session, on March 28th will focus on finding cases and using digests and citators.  The second session, on April 4th will cover statutes and the importance of statutory annotations.  The final session, on April 11th will emphasize the importance of secondary sources and practice materials such as forms and jury instructions.  Sessions will be held in room 300 and are limited to 25 students each.  Join us to have lunch and sharpen our research skills at the same time, a win-win proposition.
