Constitution Day is September 17th, the birthday of the Constitution.  That’s the day the Founding Fathers signed it in Philadelphia in 1787.   Here in the law library though, we don’t think honoring the Constitution should be limited to one day.  So we are celebrating Constitution Week!  All week we will be running a Constitution Trivia Contest.  Pick up your entry form at the Reference Desk and return it by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20th.  First prize is a standing book rest, second prize is 250 print credits, and third prize is 100 print credits.  The winners will be announced at noon in the Law Commons and need not be present to win. On Wednesday of Constitution Week (September 18th) Professor Riley Kennan will deliver a lecture: Precedence in These Un-precedented Times. The lecture will take place at noon in the Moot Court Room.  Pizza will be served!  And finally, what’s a birthday celebration without cake?  Join us in the Law Commons at noon for a piece of Constitution cake.  And as we said, we will also announce the winners of the trivia contest at that time.
