Major practitioner tools from Thomson Reuters (aka Westlaw) are now available off-line, for use on almost any device.  Anybody with a Westlaw password from Richmond School of Law can access these titles by downloading the ProView app, available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

Content includes:

  • All Virginia Practice titles, with major contributions from Richmond Law faculty.
  • Multi-volume treatises like McCarthy on Trademarks, or Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice
  • Reference sources like West’s Tax Law Dictionary, or Virginia Court Rules and Procedure
Virginia Practice: Criminal Offenses and Defenses – available for off-line access.
Practitioner titles like McCarthy on Trademarks available for your iPad or laptop.

Titles are available to all Richmond Law members with a current Westlaw OnePass ID, and they can be used in class, in clinics and for research and scholarship.  There are no limits on concurrent use.

These titles are designed to work and function like their book equivalents.  The ProView app preserves page formatting, also providing options to search, browse and annotate content.
