For January 14 (Tues.), read pages 1-17 of the Loren and Miller Casebook (Lydia Pallas Loren & Joseph Scott Miller, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW: CASES & MATERIALS (Ver. 6.0, 2019) and the additional material linked on the syllabus.
In addition, think about what it likely took to create the casebook, what motivated the authors to write and distribute the casebook, the casebook’s distribution model, and what considerations you made when selecting how much (if anything) you paid for the casebook.
The casebook — Lydia Pallas Loren & Joseph Scott Miller, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW: CASES & MATERIALS (Ver. 5.0, 2017) — is available here from Semaphore Press. You can get it in a digital and/or print version. We will be using both the casebook and the remedies supplement.
