I believe that Joe Biden will win the 2024 Presidential election, and his almost certain competitor will be former president Donald Trump. The outcomes of 91 felony counts on Trump in courtrooms across the country, and his ability to pass immediate border policy will determine his success. In recent polls, when republican voters were asked whether they would still vote for Trump if found guilty, numbers showed a much more promising figure for the Biden campaign. Additionally, the most pressing issue currently facing both parties is the crisis at the border. Trump (perhaps mistakenly) admitted he would rather Congress strike down a bipartisan bill to secure the border than pass it, so that he can use the situation as fuel for criticizing the Biden administration. Once again, whether or not Mike Johnson decides to follow his orders, and the rest of the republican caucus, a solution to the crisis would bring positive attention to Biden and the DNC.
