The panel discussion yesterday was very enlightening. It was interesting to hear about each of the panelist’s different stages of their career, and how they chose their specific paths. I enjoyed learning about their everyday lives in the workplace and why they chose the Health Psychology field.
In regards to the Longevity book, I enjoyed gaining knowledge each week about myths and facts involving longevity, and especially appreciated when these facts would somehow be incorporated into other aspects of life, inside and outside of the classroom. In another Psychology course, for instance, we recently discussed the impact of religion on positivity and I reflected upon how we discussed the impact of religion on longevity. I also enjoyed sharing the findings of the book with family and friends, or having them guess what the chapter found based on the subject.
