About

This e-portfolio provides evidence of my growth in science and mathematics as a member of the SMART community. The goal of the SMART program is to provide opportunities for students to integrate biology, chemistry, and mathematics and grow in the key learning outcome areas listed below. This unique integrative learning experience allows me to apply prior knowledge and skills to new problems and new situations.

Within you will find evidence of my learning together with a final reflection on my journey through each semester of the program.

SMART/Endeavor Learning Outcomes:

Self-efficacy: Students will give evidence of their growing understanding of
themselves as active, independent agents demonstrating the
ability to apply knowledge and skills in solving problems.

Community: Students will be able to demonstrate they have cultivated a
sense of belonging and meaningful connections within a
diverse and inclusive community.

Intellectual engagement: Students will give evidence of positive adjustment to
collegiate academics by demonstrating growing academic
abilities while managing intellectually demanding activities,
signifying coping skills when facing the rigors of collegelevel
academic work.

Ethical understanding: Students will purposefully investigate phenomena with
questions of meaning and value
