Academic Skill Session on Critical Reading and Thinking

Consider taking advantage of this session on critical reading and thinking–it will be valuable!

The Academic Skills Center will offer a Critical Thinking and Critical Reading Workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 8, in Gottwald, room C112, 7-8:30 p.m. This workshop will engage students in critical reading to develop a deeper understanding of class material. Students will learn strategies for analyzing and evaluating course material, and begin to understand critical thinking as a process of evaluating propositions and making judgments about them on a basis of well-supported evidence.

Students can register at the Academic Skills Center website: http://asc.richmond.edu/advising/workshops.html
