Candidates will complete this short online course during the first two weeks of the semester. It is designed to support learners of math in the areas of (1) building a positive relationship with mathematics; (2) teaching students to develop a growth mindset; (3) learning powerful mathematics strategies; and (4) seeing mathematics as a living subject, important to their lives.

Here is the outline of topics and the time commitment for each.

Each lesson is composed of short videos with a summary question at the end. These questions are multiple-choice and short answer. They are not graded, but you do need to submit a response to move on through the lessons and complete the course.
