The East Coast Asian American Student Union Conference held in DC from March 21-23 was one of its kind. Subtitled “Mission Ignition: Champion Your Cause”, it was a lively leadership conference.
Despite focusing on lesser known domestic and international Asian American issues, it attracted a diverse student body. Seeing so many youngsters interested in Asian American culture was heartwarming. Furthermore, the exhaustive list of seminars ensured no stone was left unturned in educating students.
The best of it all was building stronger spider friendships. Though we befriended students from other universities, the highlight of it all was how much closer we all were as a community.
