U.S. “safe” from ‘Paris-style’ attacks

In an interview on Thursday, December 3rd, Obama announced his confidence regarding the United States’ safety against potential ISIS attacks. As the high holidays are approaching, the American law enforcement have become more equipped to ensure safety around the nation. President Obama reassures our safety, claiming ISIS will be a threat, if Americans react in fear.

“ISIL will not pose an existential threat to us. They are a dangerous organization like al Qaeda was, but we have hardened our defenses,” -President Barack Obama

American troops deployed to Syria is just another topic that President Obama needed to touch upon, a second timeObama told CBS, there would be “no [American] boots on the ground” in the battle against ISIS. As most US citizens comprehended the statement with its literal meaning, Barack thought Americans understood him to mean no “battalions” will be sent to fight ISIS. In an attempt to train and assist rebel forces against ISIS, Barack authorized “less than 50 special forces.” Nobody likes to question the credibility of the President, but maybe he should communicate more clearly to his constituents. What do you guys think?
