My name is Zach Perry and I am a Senior Philosophy Major at the University of Richmond. I took on this capstone as a part of a three part initiative that bridges academic knowledge of both local and international experiences. I hope to explore a fairly neglected part of the Richmond community that has given me so much throughout my journey as a student and a resident of this planet. While no solution is easy or perfect, I hope to apply the research and critical thinking skills I’ve obtained throughout my years to help inspire and instill a sense of duty to their surrounding community.
